Happiness is part and parcel of human life ,

yet

we search it outside in objective world

forgetting

to research it inside into subjective world.

objective world is warehouse of desires

and

subjective world is awareness of essentials of human life .

Love , peace , kindness, gratitude and beauty are essentials to life ,

happiness is perfume of essentials.

Alexander-the-great

The Three Last Wishes of Alexander the Great

. With death staring him in his face, Alexander realized how his conquests, his great army, his sharp sword and all his wealth were of no consequence. He called his generals and said, “I will depart from this world soon, I have three wishes, please carry them out without fail.”With tears flowing down their cheeks, the generals agreed to abide by their king’s last wishes.

1) “My first desire is that”, said Alexander, “My physicians alone must” carry my coffin.” so people  realize that best doctors on this earth can not save them from death.

2) After a pause, he continued, “Secondly, I desire that when my coffin is being carried to the grave, the path leading to the graveyard be strewn with gold, silver and precious stones which I have collected in my treasury”. with this Let people realize that it is a sheer waste of time to chase wealth and greed of power

3) The king felt exhausted after saying this. He took a minute’s rest and continued. “My third and last wish is that both my hands be kept dangling out of my coffin”.so I wish people to know that I came empty-handed into this world and empty-handed I go out of this world”.

“O king, we assure you that all your wishes will be fulfilled.

With these words, the king closed his eyes.Soon he let death conquer him and breathed his last. . . .

till we search our values in other’s eyes we remain poor …..

even after climbing the ladders of success . prestige , power and wealth ……

the day we become valuable in our own eyes …….

we have the wealth ……

for one thing like to call Alexander …… the great …..

not because he conquered many nations ….. or was a great king ……

but

for the truth he could speak that going empty-handed ……

Love is our inner wealth, seed of which we all bring in our closed hands…..

to plant in this world to make it a tree of happiness……

not making it a tree of happiness is empty-handed departing from this world .

 love this quote ……

Not  twice  this  day,

 Inch  time  foot  gem ,

This  day  will  not  come  again,

Each minute is worth a priceless gem.

diamonds and all wealth will remain here only …..

thing we will carry with us is invaluable happiness earned for every breath of life ….

In India Gold and pure sleep has one name only ……

IN Indian Language it is SONA or सोना ….

wisdom is to have pure sleep where we meet divine everyday ……

meeting divine in every work and walk of life is no  wastage of time

but

a stage of awareness .

When If Meets Must

When If Meets Must

If we can fight together, we must strive together

If we can play together, we must pray together

If we can plan together, we must stand together

If we can cry together, we must try together

We must strive together, if we can fight together

We must pray together, if we can play together

We must stand together, if we can plan together

We must try together, if we can cry together

The future of man is built on a plan

Of working together whenever we can

So “if” must stand so tall

And “must” alone, cannot fall

For together, forever we bring

The best, the good of it all.

currency note of life …..happiness

Good and God’s morning ……

this morning bringing milk by paying Indian currency notes

thought with these what we buy in time is our needs and wants

which

may bring us a joy in time which with the passage of time fades

but

we are aware of a timeless happiness

which we can buy with the currency note of life ……

Happiness

by Raymond Carver

So early it’s still almost dark out.
I’m near the window with coffee,
and the usual early morning stuff
that passes for thought.

When I see the boy and his friend
walking up the road
to deliver the newspaper.

They wear caps and sweaters,
and one boy has a bag over his shoulder.
They are so happy
they aren’t saying anything, these boys.

I think if they could, they would take
each other’s arm.
It’s early in the morning,
and they are doing this thing together.

They come on, slowly.
The sky is taking on light,
though the moon still hangs pale over the water.

Such beauty that for a minute
death and ambition, even love,
doesn’t enter into this.

Happiness. It comes on
unexpectedly. And goes beyond, really,
any early morning talk about it.
